Amboseli Game Park

Home of the African Elephant!

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Depart Nairobi in the morning sunrise and travel to the Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Kibo safari Camp or alternative accommodation.

After breakfast a morning game drive to this park where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground, The Big Five and the prolific bird life in this African wilderness park. Lunch is served with a game drive in the afternoon with a stopover at Maasai Boma (extra payment) or Relax at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Kibo safari Camp on full board basis.
After breakfast leave the lodge for the last game drive from 0630-0900hrs, leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi. Picnic lunch is served enroute you will arrive at Nairobi in the early afternoon.
